The St. Austell Triple of Veronica Battersby, Shirley Coad and Joan Rees bowled exceptionally well in the Triples competition beating a strong Leicestershire team and then the Devon team of Sophie Tolchard, Ruth Rogers and Natalie Melmore of Devon in the Quarter Finals.  However their hopes of a place in the final were dashed by a single shot loss to the Oxfordshire team of Carol Galletly, Stella Amos and Caroline Campion.

Congratulations to Veronica, Shirley and Joan who did so well and we are all proud of their achievements.  Very well done on behalf of Bowls Cornwall.

Other successes at Leamington were Ellen Northey reaching the third round of the 4 wood Singles and the fours team of Tina Wills, Joyce Coups, Linda Martin and Mary Trevennen who also reached the third round.
