Mike Diston of Mylor Bridge with Richard Brown have won the pairs in the BWBA premier outdoor event which was held at the Isle of Wedmore Bowls Club.

The BWDA competition was played as a round robin consisting of a two sets format until the semi final stages and then becomes a straight knock-out.

Heavy thundery downpours delayed the start of the final which was one of the closest finals seen for quite some time with Mike Diston and Richard Brown winning the match and the title.
