I am honoured to be your County President for the second time in 2025. I would like to thank Group 2 for their support and my Club, Kensey Vale for their encouragement and good wishes for 2025.
We are facing challenging times in bowls, since Covid it has been hard to get back the numbers we had previously and the confidence of players to travel, and the rising fuel costs are also a factor. So, with my Senior Helen Pollard and Junior Graham Irons and the Executive Board, we will do our best to support all clubs and new players young and old, to strengthen the game.
2018 was a great year and I look forward along with you all in making 2025 a successful one for players and clubs.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone good luck, happy bowling and most of all good health. I look forward in meeting as many of you as possible on the green during the year.
Congratulations to Alasdair Williams of Porthleven who has been selected to play in the Junior Home Nations in Belfast in September 2022. This is a great achievement and Bowls Cornwall wishes him every success when he goes to Belfast to represent Bowls England.
